Detectives hunting two suspects in a Niagara Falls murder say the pair may now be in the Hastings area, and they are warning the public not to approach them.
Niagara Regional Police have been searching for 23-year-old Maroof Bangi and 30-year-old Josta MacNeal since Thursday, when 35-year-old Mitchell Snoddon was shot and killed at a home in Niagara Falls.
In an update released over the weekend, investigators said they now believe the two are travelling in a white 2016 Toyota Camry that was last seen on Highway 45.
Vehicle description released
According to Niagara Regional Police, the sedan carries Ontario licence plate DFWX808 and has distinctive damage and features that may help the public identify it.
Police say the vehicle has damage on the passenger-side doors, LED headlights and a large crack on the front driver-side bumper.
It is the third vehicle linked to the pair since the investigation began. Investigators previously believed the two were driving a Nissan Rogue, which has since been recovered by police, and later a Mazda SUV.
Suspects may change appearance
Police also believe Bangi and MacNeal may attempt to alter their appearance while evading investigators, including changing the length of their hair, their facial hair, their makeup and their clothing.
Both are considered armed and dangerous, and police are urging anyone who spots them not to approach. Instead, investigators are asking the public to call 911 immediately.
