Niagara travellers will have more options for reaching Toronto Pearson International Airport this winter, as the Air Canada-branded motorcoach service linking Niagara District Airport (YCM) with the major hub expands from three to five daily departures.
The added trips begin Dec. 14, 2026, according to an announcement from the City of Niagara Falls. The service, operated by The Landline Company, lets travellers book YCM as the starting point or final destination of an Air Canada itinerary, with the coach ride to or from Pearson included in the ticket at no extra cost.
We are pleased to expand and enhance our Landline offering in Niagara, providing customers with a smooth, integrated travel experience from the moment they leave the region
Ranbir Singh, director of regional airlines and markets at Air Canada, said in the announcement that the service gives residents and visitors easier access to the airline's North American and international network through Toronto Pearson.
Service launched in June
The motorcoach connection first launched at YCM in June. Niagara District Airport chief executive officer Dan Pilon said the expansion responds to feedback from residents who asked for more departure times.
Increasing service to five daily departures and providing free parking gives travellers greater flexibility and makes it easier for people to start their trips right here from YCM
Pilon said travellers can skip the drive, park free at the Niagara-on-the-Lake airport, and board the coach instead of making the roughly 130-kilometre trip to Pearson themselves.
Nick Johnson, vice president of commercial at The Landline Company, said the expansion reflects growing demand for the service since its launch earlier this year.
The drive from Niagara to Pearson can be stressful and expensive, especially with what seems like ever-rising gas prices
Johnson said travellers can relax on board and arrive at Pearson ready for their flight, with free parking at YCM and more departure times to choose from.
Hotel stop adds Niagara Falls connection
The route also includes a stop at the Marriott On The Falls Hotel in Niagara Falls, providing a direct connection for visitors staying in the city's tourism district.
Each Air Canada-branded motorcoach on the route is manufactured in Canada by Prevost, according to the announcement. The Landline Company operates similar ground-connection networks on behalf of Air Canada, American Airlines and Sun Country Airlines.
Niagara District Airport is owned by the City of Niagara Falls, the City of St. Catharines and the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and is governed by a nine-member commission. Travellers can find booking details at landline.com/canada.
